Meet Dr. Kris Huber

“An injury brought me to chiropractic.”

Chiropractor Burnsville, Dr. Kris HuberAs a high school football player, Dr. Kris Huber found himself sidelined by an injury. Medical doctors repeatedly told him nothing was wrong, and advised him to rely on drugs for the pain. He visited a chiropractor and, after his very first adjustment, was feeling better.

“It became very apparent to me that there was something else out there to help people,”

Making Chiropractic a Career

“I went to college not really knowing what I wanted to do,” Dr. Kris recalls. “I loved the sciences, but wasn’t sure how I wanted to turn that into a career.”

He enrolled at Northwestern College of Chiropractic, now Northwestern Health Sciences University, in Bloomington. While studying at Northwestern, Dr. Kris enrolled in four years of elective acupuncture coursework, he became certified to perform acupuncture. This offers patients at Amesbarry Chiropractic additional healing benefits.

I received an excellent education at Northwestern. I am able to read all my own imaging and interpret the findings, which means I can get the results to my patients more quickly.

In the end, the thing Dr. Kris most enjoys about his work is interacting with you, his patients. “Working with people, being able to help them, that’s what I find most appealing.”
